Current Vacancies

CRMH is looking for enthusiastic, innovative people who share our passion for changing the paradigm of regenerative medicine.

Position Description:

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Health, Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Qualifications and Requirements

Your task
The focus of this research project is to investigate therapeutic effects of formed nanoparticles in maternal diabetes during pregnancy. Your work will involve test the drug effects using in vitro and in vivo assays. For in vitro assays, your previous skills working with stem cells and organoid culture are required. For in vivo assays, experience working with mouse model is a strong strength. You will have the opportunity to work between labs in Hongkong and Stockholm to develop new techniques using microfluidic coculture and apply advanced sequencing technology. The project will also be a combination of practical laboratory work (wet-lab work) and preferably computational analysis (programming in R and/or Python).

Your profile
We are seeking a curious, highly motivated, and creative postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in molecular biology, developmental biology, or stem cell biology, along with experience in working with mouse models. Experience with mammalian cell cultures, molecular methods, next-generation sequencing and large-scale bioinformatics analysis is highly preferred. The candidate should also have a good team spirit and bring a keen interest in solving scientific questions. Good interpersonal and communication skills (in English written and verbal) is required. Emphasis will be also placed on personal suitability, fitting well into the current research group.

Additional Information

Fresh Ph.D. graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Requirements

Your task

The focus of this research project is to investigate the mitochondrial mechanisms in stem cell biology. Your work will involve elucidating mitochondrial function (e.g., dynamics, metabolism, biogenesis, quality control, signaling) regulates key stem cell properties using in vitro and in vivo assays. For in vitro assays, your previous skills working with stem cells and mitochondrial biology are required. For in vivo assays, experience working with mouse model is a strong strength. You will have the opportunity to work between labs in Hong Kong, Hang Zhou and Europe to develop new techniques using stem cell culture and apply advanced sequencing technology. The project will also be a combination of practical laboratory work (wet-lab work) and preferably computational analysis (programming in R and/or Python).

Qualifications and Requirements

Your task

The focus of this research project is to investigate the chromatin remodeling in stem cell biology. Your work will involve elucidating how chromatin remodeling regulates cell fate transition during early embryonic development. You will have the opportunity to work between labs in Hong Kong, Hang Zhou and Sweden to develop new techniques using super-resolution imaging and apply advanced sequencing technology. The project will also be a combination of practical laboratory work (wet-lab work) and preferably computational analysis.
